Mentos and fizzy a chemical reaction dropping into a fizzy bottle sparks the young leaner within me.
Just starting at Russell Street School was like dropping a mentos into the fizzy slowly, but surely fizzing up to my best.
When I started I was like one of the shy bubbles at the bottom of bottle and Elly’s class was fizzing with information and new learning. There were so many bubbles I bubbled over and had to go to Carolyn's class.

Ngaire was so enthusiastic about our leaning, it was like she was going to burst out of a fizzy bottle. So Ngaire got her boyfriend in, he asked us questions about our learning, to help us improve even more he told us heaps of jokes as well. When Ngaire taught us it was pretty easy to understand. But some sections it took two or three times but it was always easy to understand.

Starting off in joys class as a year 3, was a massive leap from being bubbling at the bottom I am now starting to bubble at the top of the bottle. Joy said that now I am one of the seniors at the school so we need to be at the top. One of my most favourite things was making Co2 cars, we had to carve it with a piece of sand paper and use a potato peeler, it was as easy as shaking a fizzy bottle. In the end when they were made, mine was the best in the class it was even with a professional one that Joy got, so I got a prize.

In Stephen’s Class I was so nervous because this was my first Digital class, I was wondering what it would be like. It was like dropping a mentos into fizzy, you do not know how big the bang will be. But in Stephen’s class, my first digital class, it was awesome we used so many digital devices. Stephen showed us a very cool app about a book but it was not just a normal book... it was a game book. It has a very cool bit, it was when he flew out of his house with the force of a fizzy bottle. He taught us so many new digital things that I did not know before. He taught us heaps of math and made it easier same with reading plus writing.

In Rosie’s class every Friday We get to go out for a game with Nicks class. The only way to win is to be fizzed up and ready to win. But then we could not play because of seed2table. Rosie makes learning more fun and enjoyable. Near the end of each term she let’s us do very fun activities that let us be creative with our thinking. It includes reading, writing, art and music skills most weeks. It is so much fun and it helps my learning in all those areas.
