Homework-Happy 90th Jean

Jean our awesome librarian, at our school, is turning 90. Most 90 year olds have retired and many will be in retirement homes but not our Jean. She is amazing! She comes in to school extremely early every day. I see her walk to school.You would not think Jean is 90. 

In honour of Jean turning 90 our school put on a special birthday party. When I was walking around my school I could see heaps of teachers putting up ribbons and laying down an extra, extra, long red carpet. 

When I was in our school office, the office was packed, in fact we were squashed in like a can of sardines with people wanting to give Jean flowers. One person stayed up to one am in the in the morning putting a beautiful bunch of flowers together.

The whole school was sitting up on the grand stand waiting for Jean to come in, then she comes in on an extremely old car ( after she drove around in her all around town)

One girl in my class was so lucky. It was her birthday on the exact same day as Jean's birthday so she got to ride in the old vintage car. With a police in front of her, how more lucky can she get. Plus all the year 5/6's were right next door to were she came in near the gutter waving flags.

When she hoped out of her car Jean walked up to a nice chair on the red carpet. David gave a nice speech about her. Two girls that are year 6's gave a speech. Her whole family was sitting near her and they gave a speech, even her son.

My dream has been to be on TV or in an event. Now my dream is a reality because TVNZ Chanel 1 come film Jean as the  good sort of the week for their program. She is even more lucky as she got interviewed by the camera man. She was very shocked when she saw the camera I think.

Wait,wait,wait,wait can she get even more spoilt then this? You would think not but she can because she is Jean. You know  those movies when they have all that flash food and a very tidy room? Well in the staff room they had just that. Two whole tables full of food. Wow I hope someone does this for me when I am 90 years old.
