The Deli Lama came back to New Zealand. The last time he was in New Zealand it was in 2011.

The Dali Lama is a spiritual leader from Tibet. When the monk dies  a new leader is selected. The current Dali Lama is Tenzin Gyatso. He was born in Tibet and lived in the country.

Cross Country Practice

 Every time we started the practice it for like the same thing. 

In the beginning I did not want to sprint but to stay ahead. I was thinking So I jogged jogging fast wears you out fast so you need to slow down. I was good at catching up fast in little gaps. Next time I could of ran a bit faster in the main bits of the practice.  

I thought  I did good but could of done better. By the end of the race my legs were so tired good thing it was lunch.

Focus - Persuasive writing
Purpose (Why are we writing)- to persuade people to read my book.
W.A.L.T make a book trailer - Think of a book trailer as something like a movie trailer. It is a short preview designed to get people excited about your book. When designing a book trailer, you should consider the following

Success Criteria:
Persuasive phrase - Words
Good images from the book
Not too long - 1 - 2 1/2 minutes
The music fits the mood of the book - Catchy
Use the main and most interesting parts
Persuasive question? - Will the poison work?
Make sure we don't use the imovie ready made trailers
We need a plan
We need a storyboard
